The Spanish side includes 4 provinces:Guipúzcoa, Alava, Vizcaya and Navarre each with their respective capital: San Sebastian, Vitoria, Bilbao and Pamplona.

Head off to Fontarrabie where the Spanish indulge every evening in this night-time walkabout. Albeit regretfully, remember to leave the tapas bars for a leisurely stroll through the magnificent old town.

Continue on to Saint-Sebastian to discover one of the most modern towns of the country with its magnificent bay, the Concha.

The more industrial town of Bilbao has succeeded in developing other areas to become a city recognised throughout the world of art thanks to its Guggenheim Museum.
