Author, composer and performer, Xabaltx is more than just a subtle blend of Jean-Louis Aubert and Jacques Higelin, with a hint of Mick Jagger. Xabaltx?s voice, which has a low register and a high range, is at the service of a pop-rock repertoire he knows like the back of his hand, drawing his inspiration from the best of the genre over the last fifty years. The influence of Anglo-Saxon bands can be heard in his songs, including The Pogues, The Clash, The Police, Blur, Pulp, The Strokes, Artic Monkeys, Babyshambles and others.
