The poetry, memories and voice of Marcelle Delpastre, Occitan poet and peasant, are at the heart of this evolving evening.

On stage, musicians and singers enter into dialogue with her texts: her words and voice intertwine and resonate with Mahler, traditional songs, improvisation and chanson.
This vibrant, poetic oratorio reveals the fertile tensions between popular and symphonic music, between lyricism and raw voice, between exile and anchorage, between the local and the universal. It revives the singular presence of "La Marcelle", her profound and unclassifiable thoughts and words.

Inspired by the eternal recommencement of the living? "from death to embrace"? the show echoes Mahler's Song of the Earth and Marcelle Delpastre's recurring images. From this celebration of the living, from the infinitely small to the infinitely large, a grand final ball is born.
