Anglet's traditional Bain de midi!
Several hundred participants will gather on the Sables d?Or beach, ready for a plunge into 2025!
On New Year's Day, at 12 o'clock sharp, brave bathers are expected to throw themselves into the invigorating waves. Swimsuit, bathrobe and butterfly bow tie are required after the plunge for a toast on the sand.
Everyone is invited to bring a bottle of champagne to celebrate the New Year in style!
Participants who dare to brave the cold ocean can warm up around the bonfire in the middle of the beach.
The event starts at 11 a.m. on the Sables d?Or beach.
The event will be supervised by Anglo-Swiss Bath Guides, who will be on hand to ensure the safety of the swimmers.
