Never without my dog!
When you have a dog, you want to share every moment with it, every day.
Whether for a stroll, a restaurant outing, a weekend or a vacation, these moments strengthen bonds and enable you to discover a destination in a whole new way.
But what can you do in Anglet with your four-legged friend?
The Angloys give you their favorite addresses and dog-friendly tips.
Explore the secret paths of Anglo-Saxon heritage
With Léo, William and Nike, their 8-year-old Dalmatian
The Sentier de Parme walk from the Girouette stadium to the Bessouye washhouse:
This is a walk we love, because it’s not very busy, it has relief and shady areas. It’s also a cultural walk that looks back over the history of Anglet, with several points of attraction indicated by educational panels, such as the Parme plateau and the Bessouye washhouse, where dogs can cool off.
Park in the free parking lot at the Girouette stadium in the Aritxague district.
Ecomobility with your dog
With Stéphanie, Thomas, Gypse and Tinko, their 2 borders collies aged 13 and 3
Have you ever seen a dog riding a bike? I have now!
Cycling is an ideal way to get around town and to our favorite spots for a ride or a night out. The many cycle paths and lanes make it easy to get around, even with a cargo bike! A solution we’ve happily adopted for getting around with our two dogs in fine weather.
Forest adventures
With Maxime and Stan Lee, his 3-year-old golden retriever
Adventuring in the Forêt du Pignada:
You can easily spend 2 to 3 hours walking along the many forest paths. It’s an ideal playground for dogs, as they can be unleashed, except on the greenways. There’s sand for running, pine cones for playing, puddles for mud baths (a particular favorite of Stan Lee) and secret paths for adventuring. Water points are available at the various entrances to the forest.
Several access options including: Parking Montbrun, Promenade de La Barre, Stade Orok Bat.
