When digital technology shakes up mental health.
Organized by Adoenia and the CAF, the City of Anglet presents this evening conference in the presence of Jocelyn Lachance, sociology research fellow at the Pierre Bourdieu Institute of Social Work and author of the book "Grandir inquiet à l'ère des réseaux sociaux".

In recent years, numerous studies have shown a significant increase in mental health problems among young people.

Alongside a deleterious social climate, analyses often add the role of the Internet, and social networks in particular, in explaining the phenomenon. We'll look in detail at the relationship between digital practices and young people's mental health, questioning precisely what seems to be contributing to the amplification of suffering, but also highlighting how the Internet enables many young people to regulate their anxieties...
