FIFAVA 2026: 20 Years of Short Films in Anglet!

FIFAVA, the Anglet International Short Film Festival, is celebrating its 20th edition this year. To mark the occasion, 50 short films have been selected from among more than 300 submitted entries, confirming the festival’s quality and appeal.

The competition features 30 fiction films, 8 animated films, 6 documentaries, and 6 films for young audiences, offering a rich and varied overview of contemporary filmmaking.

Seven awards will be presented, including the prestigious Gen%EAt d'Or Grand Prize, the Audience Award, and the City of Anglet Award.

The jury for the 2026 edition consists of Salomé du Chatenet, director; Mireille Perrier, actress; and Izé Troin, director.

This anniversary edition promises to be an excellent year, marked by talent, discovery, and a passion for short films.
