Eyaa à ANGLET

Eyaa is a Franco-Ghanaian trio at the crossroads of Afro-descendant and occiendental music, electro, cosmic jazz and futuristic rhythms. The project was born of a simple yet powerful idea: to rediscover the primal impulse of the cry, the "EYAA" uttered in certain African spiritual traditions to drive the pastor - in this case, Kyekyeku - into a trance.

Carried by Kyekyeku?s inhabited voice and incantatory guitar, the trio summons the fervor of highlife and the energy of hip-hop, ambient textures and bursts of dub and hyperpop.

More than a concert, Eyaa offers a collective experience, both visceral and unctuous, where we come to dance, vibrate and share a modern, jubilant and liberating trance.

With Fred (drums) and Kevin (bass, synth, ableton) as counterpoint, the group plays as a single organism: raw, fluid and surprising.
