"Misa Tango" par le collectif Choralliances à ANGLET

The Choralliances collective and its 80 choristers, created in 2022, brings together 3 amateur choirs from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region. Their aim is to promote the discovery of varied repertoires in an intergenerational, locally-based approach.
The collective includes Mendiz Mendi (Tardets-Sorholus), L?Espace à Chanter (Oloron-Sainte-Marie) and Tem?pau (Pau), two of which are located in rural areas. Made up of volunteers, these choirs play an important role in the cultural and social life of their regions.

Since 2024, these choirs have been working together on Martín Palmeri's Misa Tango, an original work composed in 1996, which blends the Latin mass with the style of nuevo tango, with instrumentation including mezzo-soprano, choir, bandoneon and piano.
