In 2026, the Navy celebrates its 400th anniversary. It intends to make this year a moment of national and popular pride, focused on young people and the territories, with more than 50 events organized between May 23 and June 30, 2026 in mainland France, and throughout the year in overseas territories.

In Anglet, the Navy will be celebrated on Saturday June 6 during a day that will highlight the missions and skills of those who serve France on all the seas of the globe, through a rich and varied program for the general public, at the Espace de l?Océan.

Throughout the day, a village of events will feature educational workshops, encounters with sailors and their Navy trades, as well as presentations and demonstrations of industrial and operational know-how
know-how. It will bring together a wide range of players committed to working alongside the Navy.

• 11h30 : cérémonie de remise des insignes aux stagiaires des Préparations Militaires Marine de Bayonne et de Pau.
• 13h45 : défilé d’uniformes confectionnés par les élèves du lycée Ramiro-Arrue de Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
• 15h15 : démonstration d’hélitreuillage de la Flottille 35F et de la SNSM.
• 14h15 et 15h45 : diffusion en plein air du film "Protéger" sur les 400 ans de la Marine.
