After staging it for the first time in 2021 with the Comédie-Française troupe, Maëlle Pösy is staging Stefano Massini’s play, *7 Minutes*, once again with a Franco-Belgian cast.

“What are we willing to put up with as long as we have a job?” The 11 members of the Picard and Roche factory committee have 1 hour and 30 minutes to decide, on behalf of the factory’s 200 employees, management’s proposal to reduce their break time by 7 minutes—the sole condition for preserving their threatened jobs. A concession that seems trivial at first glance but raises many questions about the complexity of balancing personal needs with concern for the collective.

A gripping social thriller that sparks a fascinating reflection on the world of work and the difficult process of building a collective mindset.
