For his first collaboration with the iconic Italian ballet company, Marcos Morau, one of the most prominent choreographers on the contemporary scene, has chosen to explore the musical and cinematic world of the legendary composer Ennio Morricone.

On stage, seventeen dancers. Their movements enter into a dialogue with those melodies that everyone carries within themselves without always knowing where they come from—those unforgettable themes from Sergio Leone’s Westerns and the films of Tornatore and Pasolini. Known for his “inner cinema” and his ability to transform worlds, Marcos Morau presents a performance that is not merely a tribute to the late composer, but a living dialogue. Through a work that draws on multiple artistic languages, he brilliantly revisits Ennio Morricone’s vast repertoire.
