Angeluarrak is the historic and iconic dance group of the city of Anglet. For 60 years, it has been working to promote and pass on Basque culture through dance, music, and community activities.

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Angeluarrak decided to organize a cavalcade—a form of artistic expression blending dance, music, theater, and satire—featuring two performances.

For several months now, this project has brought together 300 volunteers aged 16 to 85, with diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and social origins. Whether young or older, Basque-speaking or non-Basque-speaking, they all share one thing in common: a deep attachment to their culture, which brings them together and drives them forward as a group.

Angeluko Kabalkada is the result of extensive historical research and documentation. It draws on the expertise and commitment of numerous professionals.
