The 61 engineering students from ISA BTP involved in the Human?Isa XXVI have succeeded in their challenge: building a preschool complex that will allow hundreds of Rwandan children ages three to seven to start school this September. This wonderful adventure is on display in a photo exhibition.

The fifth-year engineering students from ISA BTP in Anglet returned from Rwanda on April 9, with a sense of accomplishment and fond memories. “It was a wonderful adventure,” says Justine Pouyaut, co-president of the Human’Isa XXVI association. In the village of Akababyeyi, in the Kigali region, they built a preschool where hundreds of children—some of whom are vulnerable or orphaned—started school in September. This was their final project as engineering students: to design a construction project from start to finish.
