Self-guided tour of the exhibition, with a representative from the Department of the Environment present throughout the day.

As the last line of defense against the ocean’s onslaught, coastal forests help maintain the shoreline. Yet they are threatened by pests, wildfires, drought… and, above all, climate change.

This forest serves both as a refuge for a variety of species and as a cultivated area supporting an economic activity that is essential to the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Its appeal to tourists draws millions of visitors each year. All of this makes the coastal forest an exceptional site that deserves our interest and our admiration.

A guide will be on hand to answer your questions and help you escape for a few minutes into different ecosystems using an immersive experience.
