Plage de La Barre

Located to the north of the resort, La Barre is the smallest beach in Anglet. It is also marked by the proximity of the mouth of the Adour. Closely surrounded by two long ears of the river, it is the calmest beach along the coastline. It still bears the scars of the Occupation : Blockhauses were developed here along the pleasant promenade.
On the fringes of the beach, a Skate Park, a venue for youngsters’ activities and lakes make this a unique location.
