Discover Maison Zabaldu, a hidden gem on the edge of the Lazaret forest. This unique place, founded by Daniel Arcondeguy, carpenter and sculptor, and Germaine Auzeméry, enameller, celebrates the passion of craftsmanship.
An association and a place to live, Maison zabaldu, whose Basque name means "transmission" and "sharing", welcomes artists and craftspeople in residence, such as Sophie Benquet (abajourist), Marie-Aurore Leclerc (jeweller) and Dominique Crampe (weaver), and many others... Each has his or her own workshop and comes to work at their own pace.
Several times a year, Maison zabaldu organizes "Les Échoppes", two days to discover resident and guest artisans in action, watch demonstrations and buy unique creations.
OpeningOpening 2025 :
  • From 01/01/2025 to 31/12/2025
• La Maison Zabaldu est ouverte le 1er lundi de chaque mois de 10h00 à 18h00 et le 3ème vendredi de chaque mois de 16h à 20h.
