Tiralo

For several years now, the Petite Chambre d'Amour beach has been awarded the Handiplage label, thanks to a special system enabling disabled people to swim in complete safety. A platform topped by a pergola allows users to park at the beach entrance. Access to the bathing area is then facilitated by a special mat installed on the sand.
Bathing takes place aboard a tiralo. This beach chair, designed for people with reduced mobility, can roll on the ground and float on the water without any transformation. It moves easily on all types of ground, sand or pebbles.
People with reduced mobility can also take advantage of a 20 m² shaded platform directly on the sand, with their own wheelchair. At the rear of the first-aid post, adapted sanitary facilities are available.
