La Maiada aims to showcase the inventiveness and effervescence of Gascon culture.
Exhibitions, concerts, storytelling walks, bowling games, decoration of the Maiada pine tree, a day of festivities and, as the high point of this year's event, the arrival on May 9 of the La Passem! relay race after a 2,000 km loop through Gascony.
