La Paillote Bleue is a warm gathering place where one comes to enjoy a generous Mediterranean cuisine, with family or friends in a chic and relaxed atmosphere at the end of the world. Located on the "Plage des Cavaliers", close to the ocean, the atmosphere is family friendly: the children play on the huge lawn while the parents keep an eye on them on the deckchairs facing the Rhune. On the menu, we literally melt for the Chawarma: spice-marinated veal on a spit, chips, white sauce, served with pita bread; the Beetroot, feta & totopos hummus; the Vegetarian Thali, a dhal (coral lentil curry), cucumber raita, vegetable curry, mango chutney samoussa, papadum & coconut rice, the homemade banofee - crumble base, banana, dulce de leche and whipped cream... At the end of the day, come and enjoy the sunset with an assortment of delicious mezzes...
