From farm to beach. The Mendiburu family, milk producers in Bardos, a small Basque village, make their own ice creams without artificial colorants or preservatives. On sunny days, they sell their ice creams facing the ocean at La Barre. An ideal spot to try out their delicious preparations of farmhouse ice creams and sorbets in classic, natural flavors: Madagascar vanilla, chocolate, caramel with fleur de sel from Salies de Béarn, hazelnut, rum and grape... or more original flavors like raspberry, lime and Espelette pepper. A feast for the discerning palate!
