Plage des Cavaliers

Cavaliers Beach is world-renowned for its powerful waves. Set against a backdrop of vast green spaces and the Atlanthal thalassotherapy centre, it offers an ideal setting for relaxation and leisure. Footpaths wind their way through the long grassy areas, which are very popular with families, whilst a playground on the edge of the golf course ensures it remains a popular destination all year round. Awarded the Blue Flag and lifeguarded from mid-June to mid-September, it also appeals to visitors travelling with their four-legged friends. Dog-friendly all year round, it offers a dedicated dog swimming area during the season, allowing dogs to enjoy the pleasures of the beach and the sea too.
